Inspiration for this collection was found along the virtual streets of Paris.
This started as a prompt for a design challenge. The theme: Retro Bugs. I figured out a seventies color palette and draw a handful of bugs.
Trailing flowers and only use three colors including the background color. This was a challenge within a challenge :)
A remake of what is probably my first pattern ever...
I love how water can have so many different looks. A slow stream in a river bed. Rolling waves at sea. Muddy puddles when it rains and calmly reflecting the sunlight on a lake.
Fireflies! I’ve only seen some twice (and by some, I mean one at a time) in Italy. It was pure magic and I wish there were more at the same time…
Do you think there is such a thing as too much color? I don't think so. Colors make me happy. Especially when they remind me of good times. Endless summer evenings, delicious food, beautiful flowers while spending time and laughing with friends.
The main print is a big bold flower the other patterns are mostly geometric and stripes. Can’t wait to see this on a wall or dress!
A day at the beach. Sun on your face, the wind through your hair and screaming seagulls in the background. If you would ask me that is the perfect summer-day :)
Inspiration came from a painting by Gustav Klimt and a mood board with the title that I gave this collection.
