This was a challenge, multiple actually 🙂
– A flower pattern with only three colors (including the background)
– Trailing flowers
– Scalops
I’m trying to work faster and more efficient. To do so this design started in Procreate. I have been drawing on an iPad for only a few weeks and still trying to figure things out. After the initial sketches I worked on and finished the designs in Illustrator.
The hardest part about making patterns is setting a scale. I typically work very large and then scale things down. Mockups help me to visualize satisfying end results.
