The Art Beat Club is on a virtual tour to Florence. We were introduced to ‘Il dolce far niente’; the enjoyment that comes from doing nothing in particular 🙂 we doodled and had fun.
Inspired by carved wooden panels found in doors and ceilings, I’ve created a series of patterns that feature rosettes. The first colorway: ‘Salon‘ is very soft and natural. The second more bold and Mediterranean and reminds me more of Portugal and Spain so this color way is called ‘Mercato’. The pattern on the second image started as a texture doodle to be used as a background, but I liked it so much I think it deserves to be on its own.
